Bubbleman explained that not all trichomes are equal. The capitate stalked variety — the ones with the visible stalk topped by a round, resinous head — are where the real medicine lives. These are concentrated on the flower and sugar leaves, not the fan leaves. The smaller sessile trichomes on fan leaves contain far less cannabinoid content.
